Thornton Automotive Dover Service and Tire Center is located at 3885 Carlisle Rd. in Dover, PA. We’ve spent the last years as an auto repair center and tire dealer. Since the beginning, our business has been focused on building strong customer relationships and providing the highest quality of workmanship on each and every automotive repair.

Bill Thornton and Wayne Hawksworth originally opened Brookside Motors in 1993. Through building a strong reputation in preowned vehicle sales and service, Thornton expanded by purchasing a Chevrolet franchise, a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram franchise, and two other preowned vehicle locations in York County. In 2016, Brookside was renamed Thornton Automotive Dover and we also opened our brand-new, 30,000-square foot, state-of-the-art service, tire, and collision center.
